Candi Taylor began making teddy bears around 1994. She stays mostly to the making of bears but also finds other animals in nature a challenge such as rabbits, wolves, and squirrels. She fell in love with the many variations of the teddy bear and made her first one from a picture she had seen in a magazine. To date, Candi has made and sold over 2,600 bears of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

Here is my Easter bear Ashton with his bunny Macy (World of Miniature Bears ). Both are jointed and filled with poly fil. Ashton is made of mohair with a nice white V-chest. He has glass eyes, leather nose, and a needle felted , air brushed face . He holds a wonderful woven basket to carry his friend.
